Welcome back to Sacramento State! A new semester has started and throughout the madness of getting your schedule settled, why not take some time to come out to the University Union on Wednesday night and be part of the Salsa Dance Revolution that's sweeping Sac State. I'll keep it short and sweet. Salsa Loca's Weekly Shindig Thursday in Yosemite 183. 7pm-( we pass out). EOP summer bridge students will be joining us, 30 of them.Also planning end of year Salsa Formal Banquet . Give me ideas.We need leaders, be an officer in the Salsa club or in the upcoming Swing club or tango club. I will train you. Fear Not! Salsa Lesson and Dance: Thursday. 7pm -10pm in Yosemite 183. We need more ladies. Lately the men have been coming, but enough ladies have not been showing up. Bring your cameras so we can take pics to add to the website.We have lots of ideas for the Fall like a Dance Week where all the dance clubs can give lessons of their style and a big banquet at the end of the week. Second idea is a hike with Peak Adventures for Salsa Loca and then at our destination we can have a Salsa dance. Feel free to share your ideas and let me know that you are willing to help. I have been very impressed with all of you that have been coming out during the Summer to Salsa Loca. Thursday May 31st and every Thursday in Summer we will have Salsa Loca's Lesson and Dance. We will be in Yosemite Hall Room #183 on the west side of campus near Lassen Hall, Sacramento Hall, and the Health Center. Lesson at 7pm; Dance 8pm-(they kick us out)11pm.

Here's what's goin' down. We have 3 more events lined up currently. Our Salsa Lesson and Dance which the whole campus is raving about. Yeah! This Thursday May 10th in the Union: Ballroom I, and the same place next week Thursday, May 17th. And one on Wednesday May 23rd in the Union: Redwood Rm.I will find out soon if we will be having events during the summer to satisfy your cravings. Also, I put on the website some possible Salsa Conference dates if anyone is interested in going in the future. And as you are browsing the website be sure to vote on the web poll for which day the Salsa Loca Club should hold events.Also, I'm looking for people interested in starting two clubs a Tango Club and a Swing Club. Let me know if you want to help out with these endeavors for the Fall.May 4th
We have some good news and some more good news. First, we got a new name from Salsa Dance Club to Salsa Loca Club. Yes! And to go with that, a new website that's easy to remember www.SalsaLocaClub.com The email is still the same, but it will change in the near future.April 27th

I'm in Reno at a Salsa conference. What a load of fun. Dancing till the wee hours of the morning wish you could be here. Hope to retain it all so I can teach it to you all. I put up the tentative list of events. The should be finalized by Wed the 25th.19 April
I wanted to let everyone know that the Salsa Dance Club has officially been approved by Student Activities. After three weeks of hard work the Sac State Salsa Revolution has begun. I hope to communicate with you all on a weekly basis. I will send an email with the upcoming events in the next few days.P.S I'm looking for more help with the club let me know your talents and skills so you can help spread the Salsa
